I was born in Peoria, Illinois in 1940. Raised in Keokuk, Iowa I became involved in the family machine shop and power transmission business my grandfather began in 1927. I am a graduate of Arizona State University with a major in Marketing. In 1974 I cofounded Tapco Inc. with Paul Taylor. Thirty years later, I am still active on a daily basis with the company. My major projects now are expanding the market worldwide. Married with two grown sons. I enjoy traveling, boating, restoring our 1904 St. Louis World Fair home, and tasting fine wines.
